Our Mission
Our mission on this site is to help people discover ways to achieve their goals. Our content includes a variety of ways we save money on a weekly budget, and how we sometimes transform these savings into amazing vacations, while showcasing select products we love to use in our everyday life. Whether you are just starting in the world of saving money, or you just want to figure out the best way to find new ideas to complement what you already do, we sincerely hope you enjoy our website and find it helpful in your pursuits.
Who are we?
We are Matt and Marianne, a married couple of nearly 20 years. We live in the United States and really enjoy traveling, both domestic and international.
Matt
Matt, being a school counselor, has spent his career helping kids make their own informed decisions. He strongly believes there is a solution to nearly every problem, and wants to use this site as a method for people to help themselves find some of these solutions. He is also very passionate about finding the best deals out there.
Marianne
Marianne is a seasoned teacher with over 20 years of experience. She uses the skills she has acquired to place herself in the position of the reader while focusing on production and delivery, ensuring our content is clear and concise. She is also passionate about cooking on a budget and baking anything associated with sourdough.
Travel
Having these careers has afforded us the opportunity for extensive travel, but we’ve had to do everything on a tight budget, and often during peak travel times. We regularly visit Australia, among other worldwide destinations, and we also do a lot of domestic travel in the United States.Â
About Frosty
When we first started planning this site (years ago), we knew the name Frosty was going to be a big part of it, but it wasn't until AI added a random cartoon man that the idea of the image of Frosty was born.
Â
The three men in the middle are similar cartoon versions of the real people. The man on the left was simply added; however, the man on the far right was altered enough to become the face of Frosty. We had a great time laughing about AI doing a photo bomb!
