The recipes are for both savory and sweet breads. Some use the bread machine while others use the oven. I love using loaf pans, and the mini loaves are perfect for freezing for another day. This is particularly useful for smaller families.
One of my first sourdough discard recipes was for crackers. I make them every week, and its a great healthy alternative to chips. Saturdays are made for snacking, so I usually make a bunch of appetizers to eat throughout the day rather than having sit down meals.
I love my crockpot. Actually, I have three of them and a mini travel one. Soups are the easiest thing to make, and I usually make one every weekend. I freeze the leftovers, so there is a variety to choose from throughout the week. It's a great way to clean out the freezer.
I make a variety of foods, and beyond breads, snacks, and crockpot meals, I figured they could all be lumped into one category.Â
Some items might be sauces, marinades, grilling items, veggies, lettuce boats, salads, and other sides.
